Size, houses, and why each colorway is a design
Caps often sit at 2–2.5 inches. Blazers and bags usually look right at 3–3.5 inches. Chenille letters run larger — 4–5 inches is common — because yarn needs space. A red house and a blue house of the same crest are two designs if the colorway changes. Each has a 5-piece minimum. That is how you avoid a mixed bag that cannot be produced as one stitch file. Artwork and authorization
Send a vector (AI, EPS, PDF, SVG) plus Pantone if the brand book or house colors are strict. Spell Latin mottos in the quote notes, then check them again on the mockup. We do not “just copy the badge from the website.” If the mark is protected, you need authorization and the files you are allowed to use. Original society marks you created are normal custom work.
